“Highly recommend the Schoolhouse. The hotel is lovely and has a quaint charm to it. Rooms are quiet, clean and calm. Comfortable bed too. Always someone there at reception if you need assistance. We had our small Wedding reception here with just under 20 guests in the Blue Room. Very cosy & warm atmosphere. Interesting building, nice fireplace & the food was delicious. We chose their set menu option. All of our guests loved the food, most of which ordered the steak as main. Background music and TV available too. We connected our laptop to the TV to present a slideshow of our photos. It’s a smart TV so there is also an option to play your Spotify playlist through their speaker system. Thank you again to Laura and all the Schoolhouse staff. Everything went so smoothly & efficiently for our big day!!”
